Craft – Minneapolis
I absolutely love unique finds. Especially if they’re quirky and a little bit unusual. When I’m shopping in stores, I’m often inspired by the items I find. However, sometimes I take a look at the price tag and say “Whaaaaaa? I can easily make that and NOT have to charge people an arm and a leg.” So I decided to do just that. When I saw dinosaur succulent planters at Urban Outfitters and Nordstrom’s for $35-$50 (yes, you read that right) I was disgusted. And I saw an opportunity to do one of my most favorite things: crafting! So now for the past 2 years I've been making faux succulent holders from everything from T-Rex's to Elephants to Bears! And they come in every color and size so there is something for everyone in everyone's price range.
