QuinNicholee

Fashion – Washington, D.C.

At the age of 10, all I could think of was being a Fashion Designer. I can recall mix and matching hand me down pieces that my parents picked up for me from the local thrift store. Yes, I was thrifting at a young age. I’d mix the pieces together to make what I thought was the true example of fashion. Where did my passion for fashion come from, it came from the days where I modeled at the Boys and Girls Club in my neighborhood for family and friends. I felt on top of the world as I walked down the runway modeling the clothes that I had made. My parents, family and friends where hollering my name, (Nikki!!!), saying go girl, looking good. At age 15, I started my very first summer job, and how ironic, was it that I was assigned to work at a local recreation center learning how to sew. I created and designed my first three piece collection, and show cased them at my fashion show, and the rest is history. I am a self-taught Fashion Designer from the DMV area, and enjoy making and showcasing my pieces. I follow many designers, but my favorite designer is, Christian Siriano. I design clothes for the everyday woman, to look attractive but modest. My goal is to touch as many women as I can, by dressing them in my one of a kind pieces. I am the creator behind QuinNicholee, and my company is moving and grooving me in my lane to fame.
