Guy Michel

Music – Miami

Guy Michel is a well-known professional cellist. He began his music career at the age of 5 in his native country, Haiti. Guy trained and established a foundation in classical music during his early years and continued his study in secondary and post-secondary education, ultimately achieving a Bachelor’s degree in Music. In 2008, Guy decided to pursue a solo career outside of the classical music industry. Guy explored new possibilities with the cello by blending different musical genres together creating modern popular music with a classic twist. Guy has performed locally, nationally, and internationally. His most prominent performances and features have been the wedding of MLB star Michael Kopech to actress Vanessa Morgan, Univision’s hit Latin TV Show Mira Quien Baila, and West Palm Beach’s Dinner En Blanc. He also had the opportunity perform for Latin sensations Camila and Marco Antonio Solis, the government of Nicaragua in Managua, the former Presidents of Haiti, Jovenel Moise and Michel Martelly.
