gigi

gigi is a native rhode islander, with a short lived stay in connecticut. she started dancing ballet, tap and jazz at the age of 5. she danced for 4 years before her parents took her out of dancing. she’s always love dancing and wanted to be a performer professionally. as a kid, her grandparents would take her to the circus. she was amazed by the performers and their skills and how beautiful they made their performances. fast forward to april 2022, she found aerial arts fitness in jewett city, ct and started pole dancing for fitness. she quickly fell in love with pole dancing and a few months after starting pole, she began her aerial journey taking silks, lyra, pole silkiis and flying pole. she competed in her first pole dance competition in november 2023 boston. in april 2023, she began dancing again at in your skin studio in pawtucket, ri. after her first hip hop in heels class, she came back week after week and found seacoast stilettos in peabody, ma and started taking dance classes there. she expanded into contemporary dance, burlesque and chair dance. she danced at boston fashion week and new year’s eve in collaboration with lesbian nightlife & seacoast stilettos. she hopes to continue dancing and spreading the love and art of dancing and pole dancing. she is a mother to a 13 year old daughter who also is a dancer and an aerialist. they enjoy traveling, baking and cooking together.
