Photography – Cincinnati

Zoe Antona is a multi-disciplinary artist and sculptor, whose work addresses the power dynamics and complexities of relationships. ​ She grew up in Atlanta, Georgia in the US, and is now based in Cincinnati, OH. She is currently earning her Bachelors of Fine Art in the Design, Art, Architecture, and Planning School at the University of Cincinnati. Her work explores the reconciling of oneself in the midst of a relationship and the intimate experiences between that of only two people. Zoe’s work is meant to be representational of the weight and the power dynamics all relationships posses. As well as depicting how intimacy impacts not only the emotional state but also the physical state.Her work aims to evoke a visual and emotional reaction through the aesthetics and installation of her work. The concepts for her work repeatedly revolve around the ideals of torn relationships and are representative of the power dynamics within them. Zoe has exhibited her artwork in Roswell, GA as well as in Cincinnati, OH. Recent exhibitions include Sonnet: Research Studio exhibition exhibited in the Waiting Room Gallery at UC. Zoe's work is still currently in process and she wishes to exhibit her work more in the coming months as well as expanding her outreach.
