Ruth Sager has been creating art for as long as she can remember- yarn and glue jewelry creations as a little girl that evolved into more sophisticated leather based forms over the years. She’s Detroit born and raised, and a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy. She’s a survivor of anorexia and a mental health advocate who believes in the healing power of art and its ability to speak across all differences and unite. Each piece she creates holds a unique story, with inspiration and namesake of an individual who’s impacted her life. If she’s not busy creating, you’ll likely find her chasing her four year old daughter or one year old son, and enjoying her friends and family. She also loves fashion blogging, yoga, restoring old furniture, and probably drinks too much coffee.
