Megan Gohagan / MN Paint Pouring
Visual Art – Minneapolis
Painting is my form of meditation.
I have no thoughts when entering my studio.
I have no goals or ideas or any direction to help guide me. I usually don't even know what colors I'll be using.
I just look at them and let them jump out at me, begging for adventure.
I find that I'm most satisfied with the pieces that I allow to remain free from the clutch of my intentions, giving them the chance to create themselves.
I'm in love with this style because it has such a mind of its own, which calms mine in the process.
