Fancy Dugong

Hello! Fancy Dugong makes fun statement resin earrings in Brisbane, Australia. I think all women should be free to wear whatever inspires them, with no exceptions. Bold prints and big earrings belong in board rooms as much as they do at barbecues! I'm an earring enthusiast / addict / tragic and I love making quirky small batch resin statement pieces. I aim to capture an element of fun in each design. My work is driven by a bit of synesthesia, a love for slow fashion, and the belief that you can bring beauty to every moment through some fabulous wearable art. :) All pieces are made by me and are hand poured, coloured, sanded and finessed high quality resin. A lot of my shapes are inspired by sublime creatures like dugongs, turtles, clownfish, sea slugs, hummingbirds, and bluebottles. I use a mix of materials including traditional, UV-reactive, thermo-reactive and whatever else I can get my hands on (like outback dust!) to lend an element of surprise and 'pop' to each pair of earrings.
