Drifting Matrix

I began Drifting Matrix with the aim to share my creative thoughts through the crafting of handmade jewelry. My pieces come to life using traditional metalworking techniques from sheet metal and wire. The opportunity to create something tangible, wearable, meaningful, and symbolic is something that I show appreciation for on a daily basis. I often times create on impulse... meaning that I have no pre-designed piece that I'm working off. Usually I find that my best/most interesting work happens when I sit in front of my bench and go with what I'm feeling at the exact moment. This unintentionally results in creating pieces that vary in style, from minimal and simplistic, to bold conversation starters. My favorite part of being a jeweler is creating custom pieces for those that are looking for something unique or sentimental. I place a huge importance on sustainable, ethical sourcing and environmental protection throughout my creative process.
