Photography – Los Angeles

21. Born and Raised in Atlanta, GA. Currently based in Los Angeles pursuing BA in Fine Art at the University of Southern California's Roski School of Art & Design. Multimedia artist working with photography, sculpture, performance, video, and installations in an attempt to create space for thorough dissection of narratives. My work is about identity and connection. Human connection and experience transcend barriers that we try to use to separate each other. No matter what someone has shared the same feeling, thoughts, or experience as you. I use this to discuss my experience through documentation of others and their stories. This structure allows me to discuss race, gender, sexuality, religion, family dynamics, trauma, healing and class through an intimate and personal lens. I use my work to provide a platform for historically marginalized and objectified persons to have a space of subjectivity as a complex, multilayered individual within art and media representations.
