Chris Mattei is an illustrator based in Lansing, MI. His work focuses on storytelling through a heavy use of imagery to progress the story. The fantastical worlds and creatures he creates are heavily inspired by his love of movies, mainly science fiction and horror films. Despite the whimsical and overall happy tone of his drawing style, dark undertones and topics help balance the work to create an engaging and diverse body of work.
