Boho Bunts

Danni Farrugia is the creator of the eclectic macramé brand "Boho Bunts”. Based in Sydney, this mum of 2 started macramé as a creative stress relief to the pressures of #mumlife. Danni first discovered this retro form of artistic expression when a friend asked her to come along to a plant hanging course, upon which her passion and hunger to learn more grew further. Learning through networking with the macramé and fibre art community, Danni's knowledge and skill flourished. Her walls became full but her hands couldn’t stop creating, which led to Danni having her own markets stalls as a way to fund her art. Her twist on what is now known as modern macramé draws inspiration from retro fabrics, patterns and colours. Danni uses high quality 100% luxury cotton string and cotton rope, which she sources from local suppliers. Danni's repertoire ranges from intricate wall hangings, plant hangers, bunting, kids decor and pieces for event hire. One of her favourite things to do is custom makes; working closely with client’s to create one of a kind pieces custom made for their enjoyment. Many people ask Danni ‘What is it?’ (Her art) ‘What does it do?’ to which she replies ‘How does it make you feel?’ Being a former chef, Danni strongly believes that you are what you eat and we eat with our eyes first. She applies this same concept to her art. She believes if you are faced with beauty each and every day, you will feel beautiful. Thus having a positive impact on your life.
