Jack Flora

Jack Flora is a mixed media artist from Virginia who is currently studying at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Jack has a vast range of artistic proficiencies including painting, performance, ceramics, sculpture and many others. Jack’s body of work is mainly centered around their identity especially as it relates to their spirituality and gender with a focus on the body as a means of expression. Jack's work often has the intentions of challenging and analyzing the boundaries of spirituality and identity. Their work often encourages the viewer to invest introspectively into the idea of self and identity as it relates to the body and spirit.
