Performing Art – San Francisco

Anthony Daste is a Northern California native who graduated from San Jose State University as a Public Health major and a Dance minor. He started off as a street/freestyle dancer and has trained in multiple styles. In 2016, he joined an urban choreography team called VIP San Jose where he started to compete at different competitions. He also used to be on the Academy of Villains and was the president of San Jose State’s hip hop club. Currently, he is a choreographer/co-founder of a competitive dance team known as Commonality San Jose. He has showcased and competed at various dance shows such as World of Dance Finals, Vibe dance competition, Evolution Urban Dance Competition, and had the opportunity to be cast in a dance movie called “No Dance, no life” with the Academy of Villains. He currently teaches at Montage, Purdance, and On One Studios in San Jose, California.
